About Me
- Name: Stella Magdalen
- Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan, United States
I think all I want to say here is that these words and pictures are really real, and I made them. I get about the whole international creative property laws and issues stuff, and it's the net, and blah blah blah but I'd rather you sent cool people here, than post my stuff anywhere.

Your Ann Arbor looks way nicer than mine was. I lived in Arrowwood on Pontiac Trail in the seventies.
It's a nice place if you like roaches, racial animosity and robbery. What does a person expect to get robbing other broke people?
Also, LOVELY cat! Very hansom.
Thanks for the cat kudos, I'll pass them along to her Royal Majesty.
I actually lived in lot F for 8 years, I took it over from my bro who had it for 3 or 4 years before me.
It was going through a bit of a renassaince in the 80's.
I had to get out in 92 though.
I and some friends were hanging out on the driving range at Leslie Park one full moon night and about 50 (white) people in some form of leather and regalia, broken into distinct squads, carrying things like sectional staffs and other clublike objects appeared, surrounded and questioned us. Apparently satisfied that we white folk were indeed just hanging out drinking beers, they let us go and proceeded down into the park.
Later that night there were various strange people running through the complex, and A2, County and State police blockading the entrance.
We later found out a black man had been beaten in the park with clublike objects and was hospitalized in serious condition.
There was never one word in the paper, and when we called the police to report it, we were told there were no gangs in A2.
I was gone within the year.
2711 lot I, 1975-1978.
I also had three uncles who lived out on Jackson road. All have left.
Curiouser and curiouser, 2638 Lot F 84-92,
and I grew up (after moving out here from NY) out by Weber's Inn on Jackson Rd.
I knew the people indirectly in 2711, later, when I worked at the cab co. and they were regulars. She had the cutest way of talking, I wish I could convey it in print. Sort of like this; twenny seven ee-leven Arrow, Wooud, laht, ahye!
My uncle Paul Edwards was an Ann Arbor cabbie.
Hmmmm, its really, really early in the AM therefore I might be highly suggestible, but that might be ringing a vague bell.
I did realize at some point during the night that I was hearing the 2768 lot I's ladies accent on the 2711 peoples address (both regulars). Too bad as I ended up liking the way it came out in print.
Great morning for a road trip, its pouring.
