Oooh all the pretty colours
We were reminded last night that it’s very difficult to work on the computer with a migraine halo. Have you ever had one of these? They are bizarre. You may have had one and not known it, I didn’t know what it was until I said something to my Mom, ages after I started getting them. She was all like “Oh yeah, it’s migraine halo, I get them a lot too.” And here I thought it was some kind of divine retribution for having indulged in far too many illicits.
Mine looks like a Native American beaded belt. Have you seen those? With the geometric patterns all the way round? Only as if it was made out of brilliant, prismatic lights instead of beads. Then it just floats around my right eye for awhile.
My solution is to immediately pop a couple ibuprofen and wait it out. I’ve only ever had one full blown migraine and I do not ever want to do that again.

I've had the beginnings of a roaming headache that would move from place to place around my head and take a large dose of ibuprofin (which is also good for carpal tunnel) to ward it off.

I'm sure they come in all shapes and sizes, but my experience was of horrible, throbbing pain that had me weeping, praying and writhing on the floor, until I had to run out in the rainstorm, into the woods, in my nightgown. Then just running and crying until I projectile vomited about 6 feet at which point I crawled back and passed out.
You should ask Charley Daytona, the next time you see him, what the ranges are/can be. That poor bastard seems to have at least 2 a week.
Should I send you directions via email or do you remember enough of town to get here ok?

I pride myself on not having starved to death being lost in Ann Arbor yet. There should be an Ann Arbor Navigation merrit badge.
So having a migraine is pretty much like demonic possession then?
OK cool, addy is indeed the same. Just make sure they're sending you right by downtown and not out to the far westside as there is another street with the same name out there as well. I'll email you phone numbers as well in case you need em.
