Sunday Morning Subtle But Obvious Organized Self Abuse Swim Club

I have a lot of memories, I seem to not be able to shut up the monkey mind, I over analyze. I now get to do all that while learning to type.

Oh, you are SO dreamin'

Oliver and I somehow got it together to go to a show. It was The Ramones at Arcade Five Pinball Parlour (where I spent most of 7th grade and is now Pizza House) which was simultaneously the old Second Chance. It was only 10 bucks and it wasn’t till we were hanging out that I said “Oh yeah, right, they’re all dead.” So really it was in essence a tribute band with Marky on the drums. But a bunch of the old folks (Fotobug, StrudelQueen and Evilpete etc.) were there. Fotobug was bar tending and that hasn’t happened in a long time. I looked down and I was wearing black jeans and black Chuck Taylors and that hasn’t happened in an even longer time. It was pretty detailed, flash pots and special effects, I could taste my cocktail, there were a bunch of subplots going on around us, just like at a real club. And it totally explains why todays AM earworm is “Little Ramona”.

Haven't gotten to the point yet where I'm playin' The Ramones while m'Imelda's around.
So far it's Cowboy Junkies, Indigo Girls, Crowded House when I'd kinda like to spring The Cramps on her.
As a stepper I want to like Marky but he's such a used car salesman sometimes.

Are you on afternoons now?
I had decided to put you on my nightly prayer list (re: the work issues) but didn't want to announce it on yer blog. You'll have to trust me that Buddhist prayers are innocous in terms of the creepy factor and appear to be oddly efficacious.

I love the Cramps the esp. the yellow one with human fly and drug train and all that. Can't remember the name offhand. Man it's been a really long time since I put that one on. Somehow it got played a lot in the drinkin' & druggin' days and not so much now..... go figure.

"Bad Music for Bad People".
I have a soft spot for anything with "Lonesome Town" on it.

Yep, I'm on afternoons this week.
And I'll take any goodness I can get right about now.
I can handle the Buddah pullin' for me.
