Sunday Morning Subtle But Obvious Organized Self Abuse Swim Club

I have a lot of memories, I seem to not be able to shut up the monkey mind, I over analyze. I now get to do all that while learning to type.

Now published, so I can post them.

Dead Puppy Love

Shoe
gum wrapper stuck
It flutters as we walk
don’t walk away

Here
the yard is paved in wood
I’ll take you from the fold
take you away

I first saw you on a swing set
Your dress lifted on your long legs
Your smile flew out like a banner
caught in a web of memory

Frayed
in places like my heart
this photograph of you
you went away

So long
it’s been since I held you
you’re burned into my flesh
I’ve never been the same
