Sunday Morning Subtle But Obvious Organized Self Abuse Swim Club

I have a lot of memories, I seem to not be able to shut up the monkey mind, I over analyze. I now get to do all that while learning to type.

Ah yes, Sick Things. Track 3, side 2, from Billion Dollar Babies. I can't tell you how much my mother hated that song, which is why we loved to play it as often and as loud as we could. Ain't Teen age males of the species grand?

I just love the whole Donovan six degrees of separation thing. Him doing backups on BDB, Page sessioning on Sunshine Superman. I'm sure there is lots more interplay at the time. Probably with Donovan and The Stones and such.

And frankly teenage girls are just as bad. I tortured my mam with Cooper, Hendrix, Sabbath and KIng Crimson on purpose, a lot, because she really didn't quite "get" almost any music.

Six degrees? Hell One degree. For such a folky guy Donovan really did lots of good for heavy rock. Singing with the Coop, Putting Led Zeplin together. Yes, I said putting Led Zeplin together. Look at who played of Hurdy Gurdy Man. That would be Alan Holsworth, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, John Bonham, and Clem Clemati. Three of those names should look familiar.

When I really wanted to drive my mum around the bend, the weapon of choice was DEVO's Are We Not Men?. For some reason she alway thought they were German. I didn't have the heart the tell her that they were from just a few hours drive away from us in Akron. Gut Feeling / Slap Your Mammy almost always got the "turn that God Damn German shit off" I was looking for. Ah, sweet memories.......

Thanks for clearing that up because when I went to look at the personnel on "Sunshine Superman" I was confused as hell thinking that the majority of the Zep crew would show up. So that explains it, wrong album.
